Situated approximately 3.4 miles northwest of Ellaville and about 1 mile east of the Withlacoochee River, Adams Spring boasts a strategic location. To reach this natural wonder, commence your journey from the crossroads of State Hwy 6 and State Hwy 141. Embark on a southwest drive along State Hwy 141 for 4.4 miles, followed by a westward turn onto Corinth Church Road. After traveling for just under 2 miles, you’ll reach the road’s end. From there, turn south onto a dirt road, cover a short distance, then take a westward direction at an aged wooden frame house and house trailer. Continue down the right-hand road for 0.7 miles until you arrive at the spring.

Describing the spring’s attributes, envision a kidney-shaped spring pool spanning a range of 500 to 600 feet in length and 200 to 250 feet in width. During the visit, over half of the pool’s expanse was blanketed by lush green algae. The surroundings feature steep banks, with the ground level positioned approximately 15 to 20 feet above the water’s surface. The entire vicinity is lushly wooded, adorned with trees encircling the pool perimeter and even growing within the pool itself. At the time of the visit, there was no observable water flow, as the murky brown water obscured the spring’s bottom from view.

The local residents have embraced this natural pool for recreational swimming. A diving platform has been thoughtfully erected at the northern end, providing a platform for aquatic enjoyment and adventure.
