Picture an oval spring pool, a tranquil sanctuary measuring 36 feet from east to west and 75 feet from north to south. Within this aquatic haven, two vent openings add to its allure. Gaze upon the southern vent, where the water depth reaches 13 feet, unveiling the mesmerizing clarity of the spring’s blue-greenish waters. Witness the intriguing spectacle of a moderate boil gracing the water’s surface above the southern vent, a sight captured through water samples collected in March 2003. While the north vent remained tranquil during both visits, its allure remains undeniable.
